Nationals
The annual fall SHPE National Convention is a week-long program for all SHPE members (high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals) to connect and enrich themselves via design competitions, networking events, career fairs, professional development workshops, and mixers. The program is held at a different city every year and SHPE chapters across the nation attend, with this year’s 51st annual SHPE National Convention being held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In previous years, many members have benefited immensely from this convention. It has given them the opportunity to build a network with like-minded individuals, the confidence to communicate with professionals in their field, and the skills to become effective leaders. Our members created unforgettable memories and gained valuable skills that were shared during our “Recap from Nationals” event.
Regionals
The annual spring Region 6 Leadership Development Conference (RLDC-6) is a week-long program for all Region 6 SHPE members (high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals) to connect and build leadership skills via networking events, career fairs, professional development workshops, and mixers inspired by the selected city. The program is held at a different city every year and SHPE chapters from WI, OH, MO, MN, MI, KY, IN, IL, and IA attend. Our members create unforgettable memories and gain valuable leadership, management, and technical skills that ultimately strengthen our chapter relations.
